Rev. Michael Wondel (aka Pastor Mike) Mike loves to meet new people. He has been a Pastor since 1999 and loves helping people discover God's presence and inspiration in their lives. Mike also enjoys the Blues, Cards, way too much T.V., and he used to be a volunteer firefighter before he moved back to St. Louis. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky, but grew up in St. Louis (Pattonville H.S., because I knew you would ask). Mike and his wife Jill have been married for 10 years and have two cats, P.K. (preacher's kitten) and Princess.
Thelma Urich, Secretary Thelma is a walking encyclopedia of information about New Covenant UMC. She has served New Covenant UMC for more than a decade and love to see all the ways that God is working in the church. Thelma loves to write, read and learn. Thelma and her husband Harry have been married for 57 years, have 2 children, 5 grand-children and just had their first great grand child - to which Thelma responded, "I am way to young for that."
